Blue Moss

This white or blue moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In heathlands, In marshes, and On rotten logs.
It is massive, growing up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly flexible.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release millions of spores.
