Silvergrass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This small, pink-red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The 7 pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are flimsy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, silver flower.

During the early winter, it produces an average amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of giant grains.

It is suitable for making paper
It is frequently struck by lightning.
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
