Gray-green

This gray and gray-green moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In bogs, and In moorlands.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is extremely light.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores.
