Greengrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)This short, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The shield-shaped stalks grow in extensive patches that are delicate and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, grey tuft.
During the early autumn, it produces a modest amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of medium-sized grains.
The trunk and branches are covered in large spikes.
It is suitable for making paper
