Copper

This modest-sized caudiciform grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is copper, and is covered in copious amounts of rigid crimson spines. The curved, lime trunk can grow to as much as 4 feet (1.2 meters) in diameter in the middle. Its pink-red branches trail down to the ground and start growing three quarters of the way up the stem.

The handfuls of toothed-edged, fan-like leaves are found in vibrant purple and grey varieties. They are soft and flexible, but take some effort to detach.

It is very fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with gold petals and a yellow center grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 46 curved petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like pine needles.

The caudiciform's skin is tough, the brown flesh is rough, and the blue sap is thin and causes vomiting if consumed.
