Orange Puffgrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This colossal, orange grass grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall. The pleated stalks grow in thin clumps that are flexible.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, yellow puff.
During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
