Silverbark

This modest-sized tree grows up to 58 meters (190.3 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 539 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a stocky, crooked trunk covered in delicate, silky, light brown bark, and inside, the soft wood is silver.

The branches are short and thin and are covered with sparse amounts of sticky, miniature, fan-like leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are generally bronze.

In late summer it forms small, gentle green, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
