Pink-Red Grass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This short, pink-red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in thick clumps that are sturdy and flexible.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, olive flower.
During the early summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of large grains.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It can flourish even in standing water.
