Goldenvine

This short bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 19 feet (5.8 meters) and growing as high as 76 feet (23.2 meters).

It takes 2 months for the yellow stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are flat and wavy.

The shield-shaped, rough leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are indigo at the bottom and ashy red with gold edges at the top, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the bine produces lots of large gold flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of small fruits.
