Emeraldgrass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)

This large, emerald grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are flimsy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, olive tail.

During the early summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.

It is frequently struck by lightning.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
