Needlegrass

This small, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in large clumps that are resistant and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, cream spikelet.

During the early autumn, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of medium-sized grains.
