Sunset Grass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)This average-sized, orange-yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in small clumps that are delicate and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, violet tuft.
During the late autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of giant grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
