Burgundy Puffgrass

This modest-sized, burgundy grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in thin clumps that are resilient and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, purple puff.

During the early summer, it produces very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.

Before maturity, it can grow 0 per day.
