Emerald

This lime green and hazel moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In heathlands.
It is large, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is overwhelmingly strong.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores.
