Cerulean Succulent

This small caudiciform grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The thick stem is gray-green, and is covered in sharp spines. It has a twisting, very thick, olive trunk atop a wide mess of cracked, exposed roots. The branches are stocky and red and are long and slender.

The wavy-edged, circular leaves are slate and beige. They are strong, but detach easily.

It is quick growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are generally hazel; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 37 curved petals. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like chocolate.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the azure flesh is rough, and the bold green sap is thin and causes diarrhea if consumed.
