Verdant

This moss green moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In moorlands, In heathlands, and In rainforests.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is slightly tough.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
