Grayfern

This gray moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In damp forests, and On trees.
It is enormous, growing up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly light.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release millions of spores.
