Brown Moss

This brown moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In rainy mountain ranges, and In rainforests.
It is colossal, growing up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is very flimsy.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release millions of spores.
