Caramel Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 20 feet (6.1 meters) and growing as high as 915 feet (278.9 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 2 months for the slate and caramel stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The long, narrow, sticky leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are a shade of moss green that gradient shifts to caramel at the top, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces copious amounts of tiny azure flowers.

It comes in 13 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
