Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This average-sized fruit tree grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall and lives for up to 25 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 43 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a sturdy, slanted trunk covered in very thick, knobbly, black bark, and inside, the hard wood is gray.
The sparse amount of branches trail down to the ground and are covered with handfuls of huge, thin leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are bronze and magenta.
In early spring, it produces handfuls of giant, sky blue blossoms with heart-shaped shaped petals. They detach easily and have the faintest scent that smells like warm cookies.
In early autumn it produces , C-shaped fruit. The fuzzy white skin is delicate and bitter, and the crunchy magenta flesh is bitter and sour and juicy. The bright yellow seed is small and is in the centre of the fruit.
The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
