Caramel vine

This big vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 93 feet (28.3 meters) and growing as high as 21 feet (6.4 meters).

It takes 5 years for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1.7 feet (51 cm) and are rough and woody.

The slender, pointed, smooth leaves reach up to 11 inches (28 cm) in length. They are solid caramel or copper, with dark brown zig-zags, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the vine produces bunches of small azure flowers.
