Brownfern

This brown moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In bogs.
It is massive, growing up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is extremely flexible; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release thousands of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
