Redgrass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This large, red grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in large clumps that are durable.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, blue tuft.

During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few small grains.

The leaves are slightly toxic, and very bitter.
The sap is light brown.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
