Amber

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.8 feet (56 cm) tall. Its gray-green stem is thick and straight with a curved tip, and the giant, green leaves are finger-like with serrated edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Each stem splits 4 to 9 times; a single medium-sized flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 11 cm (4.3 inches) wide, with petals that are amber on the edges and hazel at the center. The flower head is shaped like a sphere made up of 18 tightly layered, narrow petals. They detach easily.

It has a strong scent that smells like fresh linen, and it has a modest amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects , but only one species in particular.
