Indigo Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This big, indigo grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in extensive patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, violet tail.

During the early winter, it produces lots of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It comes in 7 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
