Silvergrass

This big, lime green grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The thin stalks grow in extensive patches that are flimsy and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, silver tuft.

During the early summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.
