Sunburst

This small flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its emerald and orange-yellow stems grow in bunches of 5 and are thick and straight, and the giant, moss green leaves are perforated with wavy edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

Two giant flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 14 cm (5.5 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of yellow. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 petals. They fall easily.

It has a soft scent that smells like candle wax, and it has a fair amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
