Flamegrass

This small, yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in small clumps that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, red tuft.

During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.
