Aquamarine Rope Flower

Flower type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)

This average-sized flower grows up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. Its aquamarine stem is thick and straight with a curved tip, and the huge, emerald leaves are light brown on the underside and are umbrella-shaped with toothed edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Two small flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 26 cm (10.2 inches) wide, with alternating petals of light brown and black, with a sky blue central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 12 curved petals. They are sturdy.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like vomit, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also particularly attractive to bees.

It is suitable for making strong rope
