Emerald Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This big, emerald grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in large clumps that are strong.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, white puff.

During the early autumn, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.

It is suitable for making paper
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
