Copperflower

This massive flower grows up to 9.7 feet (2.9 meters) tall. Its copper stem is very thick, and the large, yellow-green leaves are very thin with irregular edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from the base up to about halfway.

A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 83 cm (32.7 inches) wide, with petals that are either green or lilac, with a yellow center. The flower head is shaped like a tube made up of several tightly layered, round-tipped petals. They fall easily.

It has a delicate scent that smells like rich perfume, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
