Turquoise

This average-sized fruit tree grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall and lives for up to 10 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 24 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a thick, curved trunk covered in thick, ridged, yellow bark, and inside, the dense wood is pale yellow.

The excessive amount of branches are short and thin and are covered with very large amounts of huge, pleated leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are caramel and turquoise.

In early spring, it produces many giant, grey blossoms with many layers of petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like mint.

In late autumn it produces small, T-shaped fruit. The soft bold blue skin is tough and salty and sour, and the soft red flesh is sweet and sour and very juicy. The slate seed is tiny and is in the centre of the fruit.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
