Lilacgrass

This big, gray grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in large clumps that are robust and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, lilac flower.

During the early winter, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.
