Copperpetal

Flower type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This huge flower grows up to 14.3 feet (4.4 meters) tall. Its vibrant green and lime green stems grow in bunches of 7 and are wispy with a curved tip, and the tiny, brown leaves are thick with serrated edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and a pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

Two small flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 142 cm (55.9 inches) wide, with petals that are caramel on the underside and copper on the top. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 curved petals. They detach easily.

It has a mildly strong scent that smells like misty mornings, and it has excessive amounts of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind and is ignored by most insect species.
