Silvergrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)This massive, silver grass grows up to 34 feet (10.4 meters) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in extensive patches that are robust.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, pale green tuft.
During the early summer, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of medium-sized grains.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
