Emerald Clump Moss

This moss green moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In damp forests, and On rotten logs.
It is average-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is extremely sturdy.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores.
