Violet Puff Grass
Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This average-sized, moss green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in sparse patches that are sturdy and flexible and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, violet puff.
During the late autumn, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few small grains.
Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
