Azure Tree
Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)This short tree grows up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 518 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.
It has a sturdy, wavy trunk covered in rough, black bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is white.
The small bunches of branches are long and slender and are covered with thick bunches of sticky, miniature, broad, flat leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are azure and olive.
In early spring, it produces thousands of small, gold blossoms with asymmetrical petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have an overpowering scent that smells like petrol.
In late summer it forms medium-sized, orange seed pods.
The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.
Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
It is suitable for making strong rope
It can survive a long time without water.
