Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This short cactus grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall. It splits at the base to form 5 sickle shaped stems. Each stem is silver, and is covered in large amounts of flexible white spines. The cuboid body is grey and light green, and is dotted with small crimson spines.
It is steady-growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with dull orange petals on the lower layer and slate petals decorated with blue dots on the inner layer. The central disk is indigo, grow at the top, reappearing once every 5 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 petals. It has a weak scent that smells like faeces.
The cactus's skin is nearly impenetrable, the yellow flesh is smooth, and the dark yellow sap is thin and has hallucinogenic properties.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
