Silverleaf Aquamarine Lavender

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows, flowers and dies within one year)

This massive shrub grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 147 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several stocky, slanted stems covered in delicate, ridged, silver and white bark, and the wood inside is white with black speckles.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright that and are covered with large amounts of large, sickle shaped, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are lime green with gold tips, resilient and soft.

In early summer it produces thousands of medium-sized, aquamarine flowers with long, narrow petals. They fall easily and have a weak scent that smells like lavender.


It commonly grows in large patches.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
