Crimson Petal Bloom

Flower type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its brown stem is thin, and the small, subtle red leaves are dark yellow-green on the underside and are stiff, pointed with wavy edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Around 40 medium-sized flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide, with solid pastel green petals decorated with peach lines and a crimson central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 52 curved petals. They are sturdy.

It has a powerful scent that smells like sweat, and it has copious amounts of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to butterflies.

It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
It is suitable for making paper
