Caramel Moss

This red or caramel moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In rainforests, and In heathlands.
It is average-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is extremely light; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release millions of spores.
