Green Tuftgrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)This huge, green grass grows up to 14 feet (4.3 meters) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in extensive patches that are flexible and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, light brown tuft.
During the early summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
