Crimson Vine

This small vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 16 feet (4.9 meters)0.

It takes 5 months for the pink-red stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The spear shaped, soft leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are either florescent red or lime, with pink lines, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the vine produces a thick sheet of large brown flowers.
