Golden

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 63 feet (19.2 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 6 very thin stems. Each stem is cream, and is covered in hundreds of rigid gold spines. The mushroom-shaped body is orange-yellow, and is covered in large amounts of fine, lime, hair-like spines.

It is very slow growing, taking 37 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with alternating petals of silver and lime, with a silver central disk grow at the top, reappearing after 10 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 44 petals. It has an intense scent that smells like an ocean breeze.

The cactus's skin is rock-hard, the blood red flesh is sticky, and the sky blue sap is thin and causes severe cramps if consumed.
