Flower type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) tall. Its lime green stem is very thin, and the miniature, silver leaves are asymmetrical with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.
A single small flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 4 cm (1.6 inches) wide, with black petals and a copper central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 32 petals. They fall easily.
It has a weak scent that smells like new carpet, and it has excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by a variety of insects.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
The leaves have medicinal properties.
