Gray Moss

This gray moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In bogs.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is very durable.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
