Indigo

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) tall. Its lime green stem is thick, and the tiny, yellow-green leaves are spear shaped with rounded edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from the base up to about halfway.

Hundreds of tiny flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 15 cm (5.9 inches) wide, with solid indigo petals and a peach central disk. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight tube. They fall easily.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like skunk spray, and it has copious amounts of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.
