Coral Flower

Flower type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) tall. Its moss green stem is thin and splits into 3 branching stems halfway up, and the small, washed-out orange leaves are broad, flat with serrated edges. 8 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Lots of medium-sized flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 7 cm (2.8 inches) wide, with petals that are generally light red; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 petals. They detach easily.

It has a faint scent that smells like rich perfume, and it has excessive amounts of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It is very resistant to fire damage.
