Copperleaf

This short leaf succulent grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The perforated stem is orange-yellow, and is dotted with small yellow spines. The stumpy leaves are lime green with copper tips. Very large amounts of them grow on wide, emerald branches that are short and thick. The leaves are resistant, and take some effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 8 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are slate on the underside and crimson on the top grow at the top, reappearing once every 4 years. The flower head is made up of 14 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like pot-purri.

The leaf succulent's skin is delicate, the aquamarine flesh is sticky, and the black sap is thin.
